This Deck Wanted to Be Born
We followed the spark; and what poured through was raw, playful, intimate, and alive.
We knew we didn’t want to create another just another card game. We wanted to make something beautiful, conscious and timeless; a true invitation to put down your phones, soften your edges, reveal what’s real, and discover what can happen when the right question is asked at the right moment.

INTEGRATE is a key layer of The Fire Between Us, a soft landing after everything that has been revealed, awakened, and felt. This layer can also be used to take a pause at any time during the game

Meet the Creators
We created The Fire Between Us from a shared longing for a world where we remember how to truly be with one another. After many long road trips together playing other connection card games, we came to the conclusion that they just weren’t what we were looking for. We longed for a deck that was imbued with more conscious set up and depth…
The vision behind this deck is that it is a key to a more embodied future. We believe in a world where presence matters more than performance. Where we feel safe enough to speak what has been waiting beneath the surface. Where our joy, grief, desire, softness, and shadows are all welcome at the table. We also wanted to normalize integration; the practice of reflecting on and embodying an experience. This layer was missing in every card deck we tried and we believe it is one of the most important aspects of creating lasting connection.
We believe the right question can become a portal, opening us to vulnerability, pleasure, truth, and the juicy experience of feeling deeply seen. This belief inspired us to create a deck that could help people move beyond habitual conversation and into something more honest, embodied, and alive.

Players take turns pulling cards and answering the prompts. The deck is structured in four levels, moving from light conversation into deeper emotional territory, ending with reflection and integration. Players can move linear or non-linear through the levels and pause for integration/reflection as they wish.

Some cards explore sensuality, desire, attraction, and intimacy, but the deck is not exclusively sexual. It also invites tenderness, laughter, emotional honesty, self-reflection, and deeper understanding. You are always encouraged to honor your boundaries and skip any question that doesn’t feel right.

Most conversation games stay surface-level. This deck is intentionally structured to guide you into deeper emotional territory, creating real moments of connection, tension, and insight. Our deck is also focused on Shadow Work, a deeper way to get to know the very real parts that everyone holds. We curated the arc to focus on nervous system safety, so people can ease in before they get to the real raw parts. This deck also invites embodied connection through the Integration layer with prompts for sounding, movement, breath and reflection.
